Keeping busy at Cook Custom Homes, we’re really enjoying this custom reno project for a wonderful client in Springbank, just west of Calgary, AB.
The project includes adding a huge new sun room to the main floor. Soaking in the views of the private, 2 acre lot, it features an arched ceiling, gas fireplace insert and floor-to-ceiling windows on 3 sides to drench the space in natural light.
The project brings a mix of high tech and old school craftsmanship, with new plumbing and electrics – including an Intelligent Home system and indoor golf simulator – framed by exquisite millwork seen in the exposed arched ceiling and custom spiral staircase.
The addition also affords a new outdoor space below. A covered underneath deck with privacy screens is taking shape, with added niceties likes an outside fireplace, a pizza oven and, of course, complete custom landscaping.
